National Road Safety Week (NRSW) is an initiative from the Safer Australian Roads and Highways (SARAH) Group, partnering road safety organisations and government to highlight the impact of road trauma and ways to reduce it.
The Road Safety Commission is offering grants of up to $5,000 for community groups and not-for-profit organisations to run road safety events linked to the below themes during National Road Safety Week (5-12 May 2024).

Thursday 9th May | How Safe is My Car? | Think about safety when choosing your vehicle |
Friday 10th May | Drive in the Moment (Distraction) | Put down your phone, put down your seatbelt, manage fatigue |
Saturday 11th May | Share the Street | Be aware of vulnerable road users such as cyclists, motorcyclists, eRiders and pedestrians |
Sunday 12th May | Take Care and Be Aware on Regional Roads | Slow down, be alert, and drive to the conditions |
